Prof. Duo Zhang, Wuhan University, China

Duo Zhang is a professor in the School of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering at Wuhan University. He received his Ph.D. in civil engineering from McGill University (2016) and completed postdoctoral trainings at the University of Toronto (2016-2017) and the University of Michigan (2017-2019). Prior to joining Wuhan University, Dr. Zhang was a research faculty member at the University of Michigan and was affiliated with Global CO2 Initiative and Center for Low-Carbon Built Environment. His research focuses on the development of low-carbon cement-based materials via CO2 sequestration and waste repurposing and the optimization of their engineering properties and lifecycle efficiency. Dr. Zhang is currently an associate editor for Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering.
